Happy March

Hope your days are all filled with love and lots of time to stitch....crochet, knit....you know, what ever it is that makes your heart sing.  Blessings sweet friends.

The Girl Who Would Not Die

I sometimes think the best way to describe me is to say,  I am "the girl who would not die".  I say this because my doctor said I would have died this past May. And yet, I keep plugging along like that pink little bunny that sells batteries.

I am thankful to be alive. I am truly blessed.  It just goes to show you that all things really are in God's time, and not the time of man.

Things change when you know the end is coming a lot sooner than you thought. I mean, we know we will not get out of here a live, everyone dies, but you tell yourself it is far, far in the future when you are old and gray, not now.  When now slowly drifts your way, you begin to see things so different.

What is and is not important becomes clear.  You find out who your true friends are, and who just gives lip service. The people who love you, will stand by you. You will see people for who they really are,  sometimes it melts your heart because you see what real love is....and other times you see people who were not at all what you thought they were.

Each sun rise comes with a Thank You Dear Lord, and each day comes more full because it really could be your last. I am thankful. Blessed, truly.

I thank all of you who have been kind to pray for me. My dear friend Vickie and her husband keep me in their prayers, and I am truly blessed by them.  She has blessed me with her friendship and kindness over the years, and I am blessed beyond measure to call her friend.

I pray for blessings for you all. Thank you for your prayers and kindness over the years.  I will write from time to time.  Might show a few things I make, too.   Wishing you all a mot lovely day.

Just Imagine....

I saw this in my net travels and it made me smile. I also, instantly, thought...What if we loved each other as God loves us.

Just stop for a moment....think about that awesome love that only God has for each of us. No matter who we are.

He loves you. Yes, you there!

Blessings to you all sweet friends.

Valentine's Day 2024 ....A Little Early

I have always loved Valentine's Day.  My angel Mother always made it a special day for us, even when we were way beyond childhood, she still would give us a card and  candy to mark the day of Love.

Lady Love Bug is just a little quick stitch I designed to mark the day.  Hope you enjoy stitching her.

Wishing you all a very Happy Valentine's Day sweet friends.

On Praying

Mo asked, "What do you think happens when we die?" he looked at me and then at Jo.

Happy Friday sweet friends!  :)

O Holy Night

I have been able to get a few more rows in on the "Polar Bear" as I call it because it's so huge and heavy.  I love doing the mosaic crochet, no bobbins to worry about for color changes, just each row does it's own thing. Super easy and fun.

Hope you all have a lovely day sweet friends.  :)

Mama's Flower

Mama loved flowers. It has been almost twenty years since she went to be in her Heavenly home. I imagine her often singing for The Lord. She had such a lovely voice.  I always loved it when she would sing. Her green eyes would sparkle and she'd smile such a sweet smile.

I designed Mama's Flower for her.

I hope you enjoy stitching it as well.  I'd love to see what you make with it. You can stitch it as a square or a diamond.  Blessings always sweet friends.
