The Girl Who Would Not Die

I sometimes think the best way to describe me is to say,  I am "the girl who would not die".  I say this because my doctor said I would have died this past May. And yet, I keep plugging along like that pink little bunny that sells batteries.

I am thankful to be alive. I am truly blessed.  It just goes to show you that all things really are in God's time, and not the time of man.

Things change when you know the end is coming a lot sooner than you thought. I mean, we know we will not get out of here a live, everyone dies, but you tell yourself it is far, far in the future when you are old and gray, not now.  When now slowly drifts your way, you begin to see things so different.

What is and is not important becomes clear.  You find out who your true friends are, and who just gives lip service. The people who love you, will stand by you. You will see people for who they really are,  sometimes it melts your heart because you see what real love is....and other times you see people who were not at all what you thought they were.

Each sun rise comes with a Thank You Dear Lord, and each day comes more full because it really could be your last. I am thankful. Blessed, truly.

I thank all of you who have been kind to pray for me. My dear friend Vickie and her husband keep me in their prayers, and I am truly blessed by them.  She has blessed me with her friendship and kindness over the years, and I am blessed beyond measure to call her friend.

I pray for blessings for you all. Thank you for your prayers and kindness over the years.  I will write from time to time.  Might show a few things I make, too.   Wishing you all a mot lovely day.
