It so hot...ok, it's beyond hot. For this area of the mid-west this is unusually hot. In fact we now have "cooling stations" around the area. Well, for some of us we are of a certain age that we know that is a song...for all the younger ones, it's only a life line on a lace knitting pattern. That is what you see that is green on my bit of lace. Someone told me to use dental floss, but I like the thickness of the yarn instead. It's so hot outside right now that if you take a skein of wool outside, it would felt! Yep, it's a hot one today. The leaf pattern is really starting to show now. It will look a lot nicer once I block it. Blocking it will take away the uneven and crumpled look. I am only about a quarter of the way through the pattern, but I am really enjoying making it and I love the feel of Ultra Pima yarn. It's soft and it knits perfectly. The fish hat is finished. I am gonna miss the little guy. He was so much fun to knit. I can't wait for it to get cold outside so I can wear him. He is coming along nicely....if I could just sit down for more than 5 seconds and work on him. I am honestly scattered today.
