This is Peter, Peter Pumpkin Eater by Little House Designs. Go here to get yourself a copy of this adorable bunny.
Maybe it's the fact that this adorable bunny is stitched up using Crescent Colours Swiss Chocolate...the pumpkin is Pumpkin Harvest....maybe it's because I love anything bunny. I do love pumpkins, too. Gosh, there's a whole lot of love in this design! :)
I went to the "Big City" and found everything I needed to make this...well, except for the Crescent Colors Tiny Vine. Do any of you know what the Tiny Vine color way would convert into as a DMC floss?
The lady who ran the shop looked down her nose at me, her beaded granny glasses resting on her noise, and asked, "Can I help you?"
I responded in my usual just fell off the turnip truck southern voice I have which either makes people smile or cringe, she flinched as if she had witnessed something horrible and then slowly approached me and then began to look where I was looking after I told her I was looking for "Crescent Colours Tiny Vine."
She bent down to look at the bottom row of flosses that were hung up on tiny hooks as if they had been hung from some sort of crime...just swaying in the breeze every time the front door opened. Her glasses fell off her nose and then she rose quickly to face me, a sudden and powerful blast of some sort unknown perfume hit my nose began to twitch in resistance to the over powering fragrance. She smiled that smile that only those who believe they are superior to the rest of us poor slobs smile and then quickly added, "We don't have it." In a voice that sounded as if she was trying to inhale and talk at the same time.
Really? I mean, I just sent the past 5 mins looking myself and now after your obvious superior examination it has been determined that indeed the Tiny Vine floss I need is not in your shop.
I was standing there having no trouble at all envisioning her in a spotted coat with puppies running for their lives! ! Honestly...Wow!
But I won't let that soar puss stop me from enjoying my adorable Peter, Peter Pumpkin Easter....he's made of Swiss Chocolate don't you know!
