No sooner had I hit the enter button for yesterdays post about wanting to make the crochet shawl, then I was looking through patterns on Raverly, and I spotted this lovely shawl. Now I just have to make this.
I've never knitted with the Patons Grace yarn, so if you have please tell me what you think about it. I have three skeins of Spa yarn in a pink color that I was thinking about using, but then I stopped to think that the person who I was making this for might not appreciate an all pink shawl, even though they say they like pink. It's kind of like saying you love ketchup, but do you really want it on your ice cream?
So why am I going from knit to crochet to knit again. Because, I hate to admit this, and I can hardly believe I am typing this much less thinking it...but I miss the motion of knitting. It's calming. Oh sure you have to get past the parts where you hear someone (who's voice sound a lot like your own) cussing up a storm like a sailor when you miss a stitch and it starts to ravel back to the cast on...but other than that, it's pretty peaceful.
I am no longer gonna be a part of the crochet/knit war that I have battled for years. I am just gonna go with what ever hits my fancy from now on...and right now it appears to be knitting.
Hey, don't question the crazy, just go with it ok! :)
If you have any ideas for yarns or colors for the above shawl, please leave me a comment.
Wishing you all a day filled with many blessings dear friends.
