The end of the world? Really? Dec 21, 2012

I know I am a little slow in trends and stuff. But I have to admit when someone said something to me about the world ending on Dec 21, 2012. I laughed out loud. I mean, I find it offensive.

I believe in God the Father, the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ is our savior. I also believe what the Bible says.

If anyone had bothered to pick up a Bible and actually turn to Mark 12:32 and read it, then all this hype and hysteria would be as laughable to them is it is to me. If the Angels who are in Heaven, if the Son of God Himself does not know the day nor the hour...then how could any of us know, much less
some culture that did not even know God. Really? Have we gotten so depraved that it truly has come to this.

I don't care what they say is going to happen. God is in control, not the news media, not people trying to make a buck off those who are lost. It's just flat out heart breaking! And I for one find it extremely offensive.

This is just another way of the world trying to take the real message away from you. Don't be fooled and follow that which glistens and shines in the sun. Follow the Son Himself.

Honestly, the older I get the more I truly see that common sense is so lacking in our society.

The Bible does speak of the end times,  if you are curious, here's a novel idea...read the book of Revelations. Ask God to open your mind and heart to understanding, and then read.

The Bible says we parish for a lack of knowledge, then by all means, gird yourself with knowledge as an amour, but let that knowledge come from He who created you, not from one He created.

Ok, I am stepping off the pulpit now...I felt I had no choice but to express my heart. For how could I stand before God on the day of judgement and answer this simple question.

Why did you follow man and not My Word?

Kind of puts a whole new perspective on things now don't it!

Blessings to you all and I pray for those who are waiting for Dec 21 to be the end for them....I pray they will see that God is still waiting for them with open arms of love. You know, He's kind of cool that way. No matter how much we mess up...He's always there if we repent and turn away from our sins.

Blessings always

  1. I agree with you that all this Hoopla is ridiculous. First of all I think we need to remember that the Mayan's as advanced as they were used to sacrifice people....enough said.
