Snow-couple, peppermint bark and givning Santa the finger

If you'd like to make this charming snow-loveable-couple, then follow this link for the free pattern.

I'd love to make them, but I can't use the Light and Lofty yarn, I've tried several times. It has little bits that fly off and spin in the air and always make a kamikaze dive for my nose, which in turn makes me sneeze.  So in the interest of not downing Claritin like they are M&M's, I will have to pass...or just make them in normal Red Heart Super Saver, which we all know I love!

Hmmm....just when you think I am finished with showing you adorable snow people...we have this darling couple. Ok, I guess I could make room for one more project...I mean exactly what is one more project when you already have 70 billion quad a pa trillion ex a con million projects already. You know!

Oh...and let's not tell Santa how I've been an extra bad girl this year with all the new projects I've gotten started...I mean, I wouldn't want to burden him with all that information...he's very busy you know..and let's face it, he's passed my house a time or two...ok, that one year I gave him the finger...but I think he's gotten over that. I mean, isn't there some sort of statues of limitations or something. Hmmm I'll keep my crochet hooks crossed that he's forgotten..and let's just keep this among ourselves, shall we.  :)

Here's my Dear Santa letter from last year and here's the reply I got. .  I must admit, I was a little ticked off that Santa not only passed by my house but then did not even have the common decency to reply himself, but had a mere elf to do it.

Yeah, I might have to go get a nibble of Ghirardelli's Peppermint Bark to help calm me back down again. I mean, if that can't calm me down, there is always the yarn store.  But this stays between us, capeesh?

As always wishing you a most wonderful day filled with blessings and surrounded by those you love.

  1. I think restraining orders are only good for a year or two. Goodness knows I won't tattle on you for having so many projects going...someday I am hoping you will finish them..Find the Joy..

  3. My goodness you have been very busy. Love the beginning of the new story. You need to rest your eyes and neck when you are stitching too much, but you already know that. Love the red yarn you are using, okay I think I am caught up!
    Hugs to you dear friend,
    Meredith
