Red Birds update

I am stitching along on my red birds. So much fun. I had taken a few days off and haven't been getting any more head aches, so I thought I'd dive back in again. I am really looking forward to getting to the snow part.

Why? Oh, so glad you asked. For you see that will be the part I do last..so that will mean the red birds will all be finished and then I will almost be finished with this as well.

Not sure what I will stitch next. There are so many snowmen I want to stitch....ahhh so many snowmen, so little time!  :)

So what's on your needles and hooks? Any new finishes you have to share. Me? Nope. I am slower than a turtle stuck on duct tape!

I only stitched for a few moments today. I am very busy you see. I have been trying to get my thoughts together for my annual Dear Santa letter.

This year I am going at it at a different angle. No, I can't give you any hints and yes, it will appear soon on the blog..

I am still trusting each of you to keep my secrets and not rat me out to Santa about how many projects I have started. OK?

I mean, it's really not a lot...(yeah, I've got my fingers crossed behind my back on this one, and of course I have that all so famous creepy Grinch Stole Christmas smile going on, too).  :)

Not much happening here in the land of hills, moonshine and goobers, or should that be Goobers? Not sure...hmmm that just might make me a goober now hadn't it! Oh well, I've lived here long enough until I guess the assimilation process has taken full affect. Let's move on shall we!

Hope you have a day filled with lots of sunshine and much love.

  1. Good Morning, It is so gray and gloomy here that there is nothing better to do than grabbing a hook and sit under the ott lite. I have what else but a doily on my hook. It is the last one of the set of three that I need to finish up and get in the mail. Then I am off to work on more projects, and for some reason, I again have many things to do, and deadlines to meet. May you find joy in all that you do today..Blessings

  2. That cardinal piece is so pretty! I love the cardinals at my bird feeder. I am up to my eyeballs in WIP - started a new pair of socks, still cross stitching on the Barbara Ana graph with the giant woman, and the quilt I cut out 2 weeks ago is still on the design wall. And those are only the WIP I can see, we won't delve into the numerous boxes, baskets and bags that populate my happy place! Have a great weekend- hugs!

  3. They will be beautiful, your red birds. I haven't started cross stitching yet, but did a little bit of weaving, which I haven't done in years. Have a lovely Sunday. Regula
