All for the love of Benny

Ok, so I have bunny issues.  Let's just say I love the guy and move on.  Saturday when we were leaving we saw Uno near our driveway and as we drove down the street behind the roses bushes no less, we saw another bunny. Does Uno have a girlfriend? She was very shy and stayed in the shadows. She was very cute, and yes, she had two ears! Awwww bunny love.   :)

I started something very cool.  Benny the Mystery KAL on Ravelry. We just got clue 2 today, and I can hardly wait to get my knitting needles moving.

I have to admit when I saw the shape I was thinking, Hmmm this looks like a bunny, or a cat...I'll know more after I get the legs and arms knitted up. 

This is worked all on DPN's (double pointed needles). But don't let that put you off, it's very easy and loads of fun. The pattern is very well written and clearly tells you what and how to knit each piece. I love that.  It's a joy to knit up. 

 If you ever have a chance to do a Mystery KAL, jump in, because they are loads of fun. 

I used Red Heart Super Saver in Green Tones. I know that's a rather odd color for an unknown animal isn't it. I just love the way the colors look knitted up. I had tried to use this yarn to crochet something and really did not like the way it was looking in crochet, but knitted up, it's lovely.  So sometimes it's not the yarn, sometimes it's just the technique.
